Sustainability
Discussions of human activities and their impacts on the environment are increasingly common, and the issue of sustainability has taken center stage. The much talked about and discussed term is defined in the dictionary as the ability to be sustainable, but the use of the word is something much broader, it is a systemic concept that integrates and correlates in an organized and continuing way the economic, social, cultural and environmental aspects of society. Basically we work with the three main pillars of sustainability which are: activity economically viable, socially just and environmentally safe.Sustainability - This is another commitment taken by Sanphar Saúde Animal and in April 2010, through the initiative and encouragement of the Chief Executive Officer Mr. José Nunes, the Sustainability Committee Sanphar was created, comprising officials from various departments willing to develop projects for socio-environmental areas.
The Sustainability Committee Sanphar is working to overthrow existing paradigms about the old logic of predatory economy of natural resources, identifying existing barriers, so the rhetoric of sustainability can give rise to effective action.
